Analysis
Review simulation summaries and lap information, inspect telemetry, manage layouts, and compare batch results.
Analysis is the SIM workflow step after simulations produce results. Use it to inspect telemetry traces, compare laps and simulations, save chart layouts, and review batch simulation outcomes.
Use this section when a run has completed and you need to turn simulation output into setup, driver, or test-plan decisions.
Analysis pages
Simulation Summary
Review run metadata, performance totals, lap-time statistics, and OpenSim results.
Lap Information
Compare FastSim lap times, speeds, accelerations, fuel use, and throttle metrics.
Analysis layouts
Create reusable telemetry layouts with panels, channels, chart modes, axis settings, and lap colors.
Detailed Analysis
Load one simulation, select laps, add comparison simulations, and inspect telemetry with cursors.
Batch Analysis
Compare completed batch runs across parameter values, output metrics, and selected simulation traces.
Choose an analysis workflow
| Workflow | Open it from | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Simulation Summary | Simulation detail page's Summary tab | Review run metadata and performance totals. |
| Lap Information | Lap Data below a FastSim summary | Compare lap-by-lap performance metrics. |
| Analysis layouts | Detailed Analysis after a simulation is loaded | Reuse chart panels and channel setup across analysis sessions. |
| Detailed Analysis | Analysis > Detailed Analysis or a simulation detail page | Inspect lap telemetry, compare simulations, view cursor values, and track position. |
| Batch Analysis | A completed Batch Simulations detail page | Compare many generated runs by inputs, outputs, correlations, and selected run traces. |
Before you start
- Select the correct team.
- Run a simulation or batch and wait for completed results.
- Use a saved analysis layout, create a new layout, or set a team-scoped default layout in account settings.
- Use clear simulation names and tags so comparison filters can find the right runs.
