SIMAnalysis

Simulation Summary

Review simulation metadata, run totals, lap-time statistics, fuel use, and OpenSim performance.

The simulation detail page's Summary tab shows the run's metadata, time, distance, and fuel use. FastSim also includes lap-time statistics.

Open the summary

  1. Select the correct team.
  2. Open Simulations and select a simulation.
  3. Open Summary.
  4. Check the vehicle and simulation type before comparing results. For FastSim, also check the circuit and track length.

Choose a completed run to review performance. Metadata can appear before results are available.

Review simulation metadata

The metadata card shows the simulation name, notes, tags, creator, creation time, vehicle, and simulation type. FastSim also shows the circuit and track length.

With edit permission, you can change the name, notes, and tags. Changes save automatically.

Resource Usage shows Credits Used and Storage Size when those values are available.

MetricWhat it shows
Total LapsNumber of laps recorded in the summary.
Total TimeRun time, displayed as minutes and seconds with three decimal places.
Total DistanceDistance covered, in km.
Fuel UsedTotal fuel consumed, in kg.
Fastest LapFastest lap time and its lap number when available.
Average LapAverage lap time, with lap-time standard deviation in seconds.
Slowest LapSlowest lap time and its lap number when available.
Fuel EfficiencyDistance per liter of fuel, in km/L.

For individual lap times, speeds, accelerations, and fuel use, scroll to the Lap Data table below the cards.

Read OpenSim results

OpenSim Summary reports totals for the run rather than lap-time statistics.

MetricWhat it shows
Total TimeRun duration.
Total DistanceDistance covered, in km.
Average SpeedTotal distance divided by total time, converted to km/h.
Fuel UsedTotal fuel consumed, in kg.

The Summary tab does not show the Lap Data table for OpenSim. Open Detailed Analysis to inspect its telemetry.

Missing results

A dash means that a metric is unavailable, not zero. OpenSim average speed also shows a dash if total time is missing or not positive.

No Performance Data means the run has no saved summary metrics to display. Check whether it completed successfully.
